The owners provided fantastic dinners, took us everywhere we wanted, and gave a lovely tour of their beautiful village. They shared many interesting stories. Battambang is a lovely, authentic city with warm and friendly people, offering nice activities like the bamboo train, cycling, and exploring the charming old city center. I loved to stay there!

Family meal time was made all the better by our fellow guests whose company and conversation were delightful. As an ethical option, my heart is full. I felt safe, welcomed and cared for.

Very comfortable accommodation, nestled in a beautiful garden - nature is everywhere, including frogs, squirrels, and birds. It was refreshing to get away from the standard accommodation options. The bungalows are outside "downtown" Battambang, but there's plenty of places at which to eat and drink in the evening that are only a short tuktuk ride away. Breakfast at the bungalows was the perfect way to start the day - I would come again just for the coffee!

Located in Wat Kor Village, 4 km from Psar Nat shopping area, Battambang Resort features bright and modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of a garden or lake. It was a little bit out of town but added to its charm and peacefulness. Easy to get a tuk tuk into town if needed. Would definitely stay again.

I think au cabaret vert is a perfect get away to immerse in a quiet garden. PS: try the homemade jam! I wish i had time to taste more dishes xx

Her cooking is absolutely delicious, and every meal felt like it was made with love. There were always fresh mangoes available, flowers in the room, and so many small touches that showed her incredible attention to detail. The homestay is peaceful, well kept, and full of heart. We left feeling cared for and very grateful.

You can tell they focus on quality rather than profit, making everything from scratch and using ingredients grown themselves or purchased from the local market when in season. The hosts are happy to help you plan things to do in the Battambang area, organize bus travel and if there is a chance they will show you some local life. We had a delicious breakfast at the market, a fun coffee shop experience and heard a lot of interesting stories. We had already booked our bus ticket with VET and they still called the bus company to organize a free pick up from their guesthouse - thank you so much! The service and quality here is something special and we are really glad we chose to stay. Looking forward to returning in the future!
