It was very much a family endeavor. Smey built the cabins himself. They were set in a lovely, clean, and well tended garden. Smey was always helpful in answering questions, suggesting restaurants etc. and we hired him for a day tour of some nearby villages, which was interesting. The Homestay is away from town, so we rented a scooter and that worked out perfectly but tuktuks are also available. All in all Tribal Homestay was a perfect place for us in Ban Lung and we felt lucky to have spent time there.

She was really friendly and we quickly felt part of the family!! The place is great, with a big terrace on the top. You can rent motorbike here for a good price. Room was clean and comfortable. Navina is very helpful and honest, you can ask her for advice and she can help you to organise your trip in Ratanakiri! We spent one week here and we will come back for sure if we pass by Banlung again ! Thank you Navina, hope we'll cross paths again :)

The room itself is great, the beds are really comfortable + they have a mosquito net which we really appreciated, the bathroom is good. What made our stay here really memorable are the owners and their son Sok. They are incredibly kind, helpful, funny, and Sok is a wonderful company - he guided us around the city and played chess with us. One of the best stays ever, we really recommend this place!
