I had an amazing time with amazing staff in camp kipwe! They made me feel welcome 🙏🏾 from the time I got out from the car I was greeted by Kan and David with a cold towel. Everyone at the restaurant was super nice. The view from every spot was stunning. The house keeping team was great , they came and did some touch ups in the evening. Although the toilet was outdoor but I had full privacy, no one can really look into the toilet. Looking forward to staying there again soon.

This was our favourite campsite during our 2-week roadtrip in Namibia. The location is very peaceful and safe. The space is huge, a large private plot with a bathroom, a toilette, an outdoor dishwashing area and a BBQ area. Everything was crystal clear, spacious, cozy, therevwasbhot water every time. We could buy delicious meat from the owners and grilled it on the fire - it was great :) The son of the owner was super kind and helpful. I fully recommend this campsite, especially for those on a roadtrip with a tented car. This clean and peaceful location was such a relief after the other crowded campsites.

The family who run this place are adorable & you feel like family by the time you leave! It is a rest stop cafe on the C39 road to Khorixas with 2 units behind the cafe. They are equipped with twin beds, AC, a fridge & kettle plus an en-suite shower room. All clean & comfortable. Convenient for visiting the Petrified Forest but an hour from Twyfelfontein. We took our own breakfast stuff but Letty cooked a simple supper for us. We did a walk up to the hills behind behind their farm with Eddy & the Grandchildren which was incredible & the views & sunset amazing. If you are looking for a simple affordable place to stay in the area this is perfect & Letty, Eddy, Sanchez & Tia are so warm, friendly & accommodating. We will never forget them & hope to return.

We had such a memorable experience staying with Eddy and his family. The place is lovely, on a beautiful piece of land, and has all you need. But… it’s the people that really sets this place apart. The first night we arrived, we chatted for hours just getting to know one another and wow… they are truly amazing humans! They shared their hope and vision for this place was “to come as a guest and leave as a friend” a motto that is so evident in how they run the place. We had only planned to stay for one night and continue on our way the next day. However, after some unexpected car trouble, they graciously let us stay again the following night. After hearing of our troubles, Eddy immediately took the tire off of his own truck so we could have a spare while we were getting our car fixed. Namibia offers a ton of amazing things to a tourist, but meeting Eddy and his family was definitely the highlight of our trip here. We’ve never been greeted by such kindness and hospitality. We are so grateful to have met everyone. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you won’t regret it. I guarantee it will be one of the most memorable parts of your trip!

אורחן כפרי הואב (Huab Lodge & BushSPA) ממוקם באזור דמאראלנד (Damaraland), ומוקף בצמחייה עבותה. מקום האירוח כולל בריכה שחיה ומעיין תרמי טבעי. Huab lodge is one of those places that will stay in your memory for a long time. The drive to it is a bit off the beaten track, through gates and over a few small dry river beds. But once there, gosh! Peace. Except for the birds, the insects, Deon and Lidia's welcome, this is the life! Then the rooms. Glorious. No frilly gold plated stuff. Don't expect bling. Just comfort. Great views, spacious, great bathrooms. This is an ecolodge so no hairdriers or aircon. But they are not needed. Relax. Great food, proper hospitality, the night sky... worth it for nightjars and stars alone. And then the desert elephant safaris... just go there.
