This was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip, but it was worth the money for a short stay in my opinion. For longer, it will get expensive. The staff is so well trained and attentive and friendly, especially compared to other lodges we stayed at. The buffet meals were top notch. The views are stunning. The pool, bar and restaurant areas are wonderful. The room we stayed in feels brand new and is very well put together. We went to Toshari (another lodge in the Quiver and Co group 2 hours away) which was not nearly as nice as this. So if you are choosing between the two, choose Damaraland despite the increased price. The only thing that makes Toshari better is that it is close to Etosha.

This place has provided one of those unexpected but pleasant experiences that come as an absolute surprise. Comfortable and clean tent, nice relaxation area, good food, astonishing sunset and extremely knowledgeable safari drivers! Overall, an excelent experience we absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Namibia!

This was our favourite campsite during our 2-week roadtrip in Namibia. The location is very peaceful and safe. The space is huge, a large private plot with a bathroom, a toilette, an outdoor dishwashing area and a BBQ area. Everything was crystal clear, spacious, cozy, therevwasbhot water every time. We could buy delicious meat from the owners and grilled it on the fire - it was great :) The son of the owner was super kind and helpful. I fully recommend this campsite, especially for those on a roadtrip with a tented car. This clean and peaceful location was such a relief after the other crowded campsites.

We had such a memorable experience staying with Eddy and his family. The place is lovely, on a beautiful piece of land, and has all you need. But… it’s the people that really sets this place apart. The first night we arrived, we chatted for hours just getting to know one another and wow… they are truly amazing humans! They shared their hope and vision for this place was “to come as a guest and leave as a friend” a motto that is so evident in how they run the place. We had only planned to stay for one night and continue on our way the next day. However, after some unexpected car trouble, they graciously let us stay again the following night. After hearing of our troubles, Eddy immediately took the tire off of his own truck so we could have a spare while we were getting our car fixed. Namibia offers a ton of amazing things to a tourist, but meeting Eddy and his family was definitely the highlight of our trip here. We’ve never been greeted by such kindness and hospitality. We are so grateful to have met everyone. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you won’t regret it. I guarantee it will be one of the most memorable parts of your trip!

אורחן כפרי הואב (Huab Lodge & BushSPA) ממוקם באזור דמאראלנד (Damaraland), ומוקף בצמחייה עבותה. מקום האירוח כולל בריכה שחיה ומעיין תרמי טבעי. Our stay at Huab Lodge was simply a dream! We were very warmly welcomed and the location is absolutely unique. The food was also excellent. Our absolute highlight was the River Drive. The nature and also the elephants were really breathtaking. What we really liked was how respectful the handling of the elephants was. It was left enough distance to the elephants and also respected when the signal came that we should "move on". Nevertheless, we were able to spend a lot of time with the elephants. You just noticed that they are free and wild elephants, which made everything even more unique. By far the best drive of the entire vacation.
