By far the best stay in whole Central America! Very clean, nice big pool, how water though out the whole day. The breakfast was amazing with fresh baked French bread every single day! But the best thing about this place are the hosts. We felt right at home, very friendly and helpful. We really can’t explain how lovely they were. (The location is very close to the laguna but taking a taxi is cheap and easy so it’s worth it).

The property has a beautiful view of Laguna de Apoyo. It’s quiet and very well maintained. The smells coming from the kitchen were quite pleasant.

We have visited Laguna de Apoyo a few times in the past, and have stayed in different hotels. San Simian was a lot better than the others. It had access to everything we needed, AND it was a lot more quiet, it had lots of shade and beautiful gardens. There is a hike to the Catarina Mirador 100 m away from the hotel, which was a bonus. You wake up every morning with the sounds of monkeys, birds, squirrels and a beautiful view of the water. You can order a coffee thermos and have it ready for you when you wake up in the morning, before breakfast, so you can enjoy it in your room or in the hammock outside your room, or by the lake. The shower in the cabin we stayed in was open concept. What a lovely experience to take a shower under the stars! There is always warm water, which is a plus in Nicaragua The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Daniel, the server is always ready to help with whatever you need. Daniel, the owner is amazing, He has lots of great information about the area, and about other places to stay in Nicaragua. He is always making sure that you are well taken care of, and he takes great care of his staff. We are already planning out next stay at San Simian. Can't recommend it enough!

Madre Casa se află în Masaya și are vedere la grădină, o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un lounge comun, un bar și facilități de grătar. Super nice home stay in Masaya. The rooms are very comfortable - good size, comfortable beds and aircon for hot days. It is easy to walk into town from this location where there are lots of good restaurants. The owner helped us understand what a good amount is to pay for taxis and also helped us when we forgot our watch! The breakfast and coffee each morning was a great bonus as well

The hotel was set in large landscaped grounds with the rooms spaced apart from each other. There was a swimming pool with a bar area and a restaurant. The room was very luxurious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

She treats you like a family in her sweet home.

I stayed for one night and I think it’s my favourite hostel that I’ve stayed in :) I was in a mixed dorm with 10 beds but slept very well, very clean and comfortable large single bed 👍 Lovely pancakes for breakfast and great view of the lake with lots of places to sit.
