This was such a unique property—very remote, yet close to the nearby town of Dalen. The kitchen was well equipped and we made dinner (there were four of us staying in the two cabins) and foraged for mushrooms and berries at the hosts encouragement and guidance. We also utilized the breakfast items and our leftovers to make omelettes in the morning before we left. We used the amazing sauna and small pond on the property in the evening. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great and the sunrise was unbelievable. The mirrored cabins are not to be missed. We spent a LOT of time taking photos!

Very nice cabin with a great view over the nother part of Lake Nisser into the valley of Vråvatn. The cabin was very comfortable with a lot of space. We could even charge our electric car directly at the cabin. When we tried this the first time, the wallbox didn't work but that was fixed by our friendly host already on the next day!

Staff was super friendly, place was very beautiful and clean, and food was excellent. The views and surrounding areas are breathtaking. By far, this is the best place that we’ve stayed in Norway; strongly recommend it!

Calm and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stop. Very well maintained, tidy and friendly. Don't be put off by the shared facilities, they only have a few rooms and showers/bathrooms are very, very fresh (and you have water in the room as well). Nice breakfast, not a large buffet but everything you need. Do take this road instead of the tunnel and stop here! Good parking, possible to buy homemade dinner too. It tasted very well and was freshly prepared on order.

The hosts were charming and helpful. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations - spacious and comfortable with quality furnishings and even a separate kitchen and terrace we would love to have used if warmer. The river was only 200m away for relaxing walks, and a 24hr self-serve supermarket completed the rural escape convenience! Truly one of the best stays we have had - we could not rate it highly enough!
