Perfectly clean and the area is very nice, next to the port. Highly recommended!

Comfortable Accommodations: Casa BuonVento in Horta offers a guest house with free WiFi, parquet floors, and sea views. Some rooms include a private bathroom, work desk, and wardrobe. Communication with the owners was excellent. They recommended many places to see. Extremely clean, close to the port and the center.

Everything - spacious room, huge luxurious bed, bathtub, laundry with washers and dryers, two full kitchens with induction cooktops, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, coffee machines, refrigerators/freezers, great cookware, wine glasses, utensils - everything one needed to prepare and enjoy a relaxing meal. Then there was the view from the dining/lounge room overlooking the bay with Monte de Guia and Ilha do Pico in the background. Each morning we relaxed on the balcony as we had our coffee and listened to the surf gently rolling in. This was all highlighted by the friendly and attentive staff which were there during the daytime hours. Location was perfect with a short walk to the middle of town and the marina. Free street parking (residential area) was available right at the front door. Never an issue.

Offering an outdoor pool and a fitness centre, Quinta do Vale is located 3 km from Horta centre, Faial Island. A Turkish bath and free WiFi access are available in this country house. Beautiful place run by lovely lady with much care. Kids loved the pool, I loved the view on Pico and lovely garden.
