Definitely can recommend this modern hotel which is perfectly located on the first line to the ocean and with an incredible view on Pico. The room is well equipped, everything is crystal clean. Breakfast was very delicious.

My flight departs later in the afternoon & she let's me stay past my check out time & booked me a taxi to the airport. Attentive all the way.

The hosts were super nice and helpful. There was a delicious breakfast in the mornings with homemade items such as yogurt, jams and cake to go along with the other breakfast items. Coffee and cake were available throughout the day. There was labeled spaces in the fridge to leave your items and then kitchen had all of the cooking items you would need. The rooms were nice with a little balcony and great view of Mount Pico. Great location on the island.

Comfortable Accommodations: Casa BuonVento in Horta offers a guest house with free WiFi, parquet floors, and sea views. Some rooms include a private bathroom, work desk, and wardrobe. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts, all their tips were spot-on and helped us make the most of our short stay on Faial (2 nights). The house is beautifully renovated and decorated. The communal kitchen is well equipped and organised, with ckearly marked separate storage spaces for each of the rooms. This is a wonderful pkace to spend a few nights or even a week in Horta.

The view from Room 7 has to be the best on the island. Start and end your day in those chairs. Good vibes only. I walked to the ferry terminal and down to the harbor daily. Vintage cobble streets.

Offering an outdoor pool and a fitness centre, Quinta do Vale is located 3 km from Horta centre, Faial Island. A Turkish bath and free WiFi access are available in this country house. The place is very charming, like an old fashioned home, very warm and inviting. Only 8 rental rooms. Quiet with a huge garden and pool ( which we didnt use). Good breakfast, not too fancy but enough to start the day. Beds were excellent, although they only had 2 twin beds for us and not a double bed. There was no check in time, they asked us about our time of arrival and we got the room when we arrived, at about 10:30 in the morning...
