He gave us a full education on Rwanda and is the most wonderful ambassador for his country. The breakfast and Felicity serving it were exceptional. The fireplace in the room, hot water bottle, massage, sauna, all brilliant.

Excellent accommodation, and was kept very clean. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. They really know how to look after their guests with the extra touches such as cleaning our boots and car - this was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was also good. I will definitely return to stay here next time I'm in the area!

The entire team is wonderful, but Olivier in particular is truly next level. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and helped me with everything I needed throughout my stay. His warmth and genuine care made such a difference and made me feel completely at home. One of my favorite moments each day was the evening campfire. Sitting by the beautiful fire with a hot cup of tea in the afternoon, surrounded by nature, was simply magical. It created such a peaceful and cozy atmosphere after a day of exploring. The food deserves special recognition. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were absolutely outstanding. The chef is exceptional — every meal was prepared with so much love and attention to detail. The local food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the passion in every dish. The tents (rooms) were exceptional. Extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly integrated into nature. Waking up in the morning to that breathtaking view of the volcanoes was unforgettable. And after traveling through East Africa for three months, having consistent hot water and a proper hot shower was such a luxury. Showering while enjoying a stunning view of the volcano — that is something truly special. This place is a hidden gem and highly recommendable for anyone staying in the region for gorilla or monkey trekking. It offers the perfect mix of adventure, nature, comfort, and relaxation. The views are incredible, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the people give their whole heart to this hotel. You can truly see how dedicated they are — the hospitality is next level. The resort met all my expectations and I was impressed with my stay. The welcoming was superb. I was offered an upgraded superior room which was super clean and specious with great amenities. The food was what i expected and the indian Chef Mr Vinod did a great job in preparing my vegetarian meal. All staff were super friendly and everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to stay at Virunga Inn.
