Ulrika was a warm and welcoming host. Super cute place in lovely surrounds. The decor and vibe were perfect 🫶. We felt at home and were sad we couldn't stay for longer. Breakfaat had everything we needed, including fresh local eggs. We will stay here next time we are in the area!

The host Ulrika was really lovely, communication was very smooth and she answered her messages very quickly. We only stayed one night on the way between Stockholm and our next destination, but we really could have stayed another night! The room was super cosy, on a very nice farm. The bed was so comfortable! And we also really liked the very complete breakfast that was prepared for us. Overall a perfect first stop for our trip, and we would love to come back!

Beautiful location, the town of Strömsholm and the area around it is magnificent. Great breakfast in a very fancy room. Staff is kind and helpful. Easy check in. Parking available. I would describe it as an old but very well maintained house that has a lot of character. You can roam around some of the house and find books, paintings and places to sit. There is also a shared kitchen. Definitely worth coming here.

Situated about 3 minutes’ drive from central Västerås, this picturesque old farm offers apartments decorated in traditional Swedish country style with free Wi-Fi and parking. Very nice and cozy accommodation. Village look and feel not leaving the city. The room is fully equipped and comes with all necessary accessories (without a cooking place in my case). Big food store is just 10min by walk.

The owner is incredibly polite—a truly wonderful gentleman who made us feel welcome from the very start. It was a great place for the whole family, including our pets, and the neighborhood was peaceful and friendly. The house is very well insulated, and the wood stove provided more than enough heat to keep us warm throughout the night. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything you need, making cooking easy and enjoyable. There’s also a wonderful library next to the stove—perfect for relaxing with a good book by the fire. The location is scenic and absolutely beautiful. During our visit, we spotted moose, wild pheasants, deer, foxes, and even many migrating birds in November. Exploring the surroundings was a delight—we even discovered a rune stone and a gorgeous river with a natural bridge. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
