In the fridge, we were greeted with a package of homemade delicacies from the Bimar farm, which were also more than excellent. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone in need of some peace and a retreat into nature. 10/10

Just like last time, it was a wonderful stay. The hostess really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The small café, which also serves as the breakfast room, is a very cozy lounge area. It's ideal if you want to do a little work in the evening or just sit and enjoy a glass of wine. But Hisa Poljana isn't just a good place to stay when you're passing through. It is also a great place to spend a few days in peace and relaxation. There are plenty of activities on offer. The hostess herself also offers a variety of courses (e.g., pottery, Advent wreath making), and there is plenty to do in the beautiful surroundings. So far, few tourists come to this part of Slovenia, and as a visitor, you are something of a rarity. The room was spotlessly clean, pleasantly heated, and quiet, as the noise from the main road decreases significantly at night. The breakfast is lovingly prepared and the coffee tastes natural (the house is also a café). In the morning, you can look out of the café's window at the mist-covered forests of the valley and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is always tasteful music playing.

We had the best stay ever in Slovenia. We were a party of 5 adults on a MTB trip. The hosts gave us detailed instructions about the nearby MTB trails. The accomodation was super clean. The yard is amazing. We will come back next year for sure.
