Pros’s: 1) Dungs, who runs the front desk and customer service, is first rate in all he does. Thu, the owner, is so kind, glowing with beauty inside and out. 2) location is amazing- spent 4 days here and much time on the beautiful grounds enjoying the scenery. Free bikes allowed me to just ride around the neighborhood each day soaking in the nature. 3). The grounds are lit up at night making for great ambiance. 4). Breakfast is fantastic and plentiful. 5). Location to boat ride just a quick ride away and rode into Tam Coc for meals a few times. Around a 1/2 hour bike ride but need a light for riding home in dark. or rent a motor bike for cheap or get a Grab. Cons: just 2 things and neither have to do with the property which they can control. But the property is set off the road and tucked into a recess that is so beautiful. There appears to be nothing but nature but in fact there are 2 neighbors and each presents a problem. 1) there is one small house also tucked into the area who has dogs that bark loudly and often. Beind surrounded by tall cliffs the barking echos and ruins the tranquility. Hopefully this situation can get sorted out somehow. 2). The other neighbor who is out on main road twice , in the evening for 1-2 hours straight, felt the need to blare at high volume terrible Karioke. I went over to their house one night to ask them to turn it down but they didn’t as i think they believe they are doing a public service. This happened to us a few times in Vietnam and is a shame. So, most the times amazing tranquility but other times the peace is broken by inconsiderate neighbors. I truly hope these issues can get sorted out but I would return regardless due to the good things.

Amazing stay in beautiful nature. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. Because of some reviews, I thought it would be difficult to get there, so we rented a motorbike when we arrived in Tam Coc, but that wasn’t necessary at all. A taxi can take you directly to the hotel garden. The hotel also offers motorbike rentals and free bicycles. They can even arrange a limousine van to Hanoi (departing every hour) at the best price. The location strikes the perfect balance! close enough to the city center, yet far enough to offer peace and a true sense of nature. I really loved everything: the room, bed, bathroom, amenities, bamboo decorations, breakfast, garden, and the view. Most of all, the staff were very kind and attentive.

Unfortunately arrived during the storm but that meant we got to use the facilities better and the bar, restaurant are also really nice. And to top it off, the staff are amazing and friendly.

Everything were wonderful. We had an exceptional 1-night stay. The helpful staff, the comfortable room made us surprised as it was over my initial expectation. Will definitely comeback once again longer

The Lamia Bungalows were a hidden haven in Ninh Binh, with picturesque rooms and lovely staff. It was the perfect combination of a luxury feel whilst also being close to nature. The food at the restaurant was also delicious so we didn’t feel the need to go into town for dinner. Definitely don’t miss this one whilst you are in Ninh Binh!!

Tam Coc Village Bungalow se află la 26 km de Templul Bai Dinh și pune la dispoziție un restaurant, biciclete gratuite, o piscină în aer liber și o grădină. Typing this now I am back home in NZ. This place was perfect - we had a triple room for 4 nights. Everyday our towels were changed, the staff accommodated our 4am check-in after a sleeper bus, the beds were comfy, the pool clean, the rooms very clean as well. We booked a tour through the desk and had our laundry done here too. Close enough to walk into town but far enough away from the noise. Breakfast was great, and the whole place is very pretty. Honestly, there was nothing that could have been better here - highly recommend.
