The staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for us and our host Nicky was the most thoughtful and obliging lady that you could wish to meet! After a day of wildlife viewing in the Addo Elefant park it was a treat to arrive at Chicane. Greg, the host was exceptionally welcoming. We had a bit of a chat with him, refreshed a bit in our room and then could use the braai/BBQ facilities. It is a wonderful entertainment space with all the bells and whistles. The room was clean and parking secured. The location is great in Sunland near the national park, although some roadworks are a bit of a nuisance at the moment. (April 2025)

The story behind it and the hostess Patricia really touched us. For us, it felt like visiting family and eating at home. All the details were taken care of to perfection and we were given interesting recommendations for activities in the area. The garden is a little oasis. The whole house has a soothing atmosphere. Together with the great bedding and peaceful surroundings, it made for the best night's sleep we had during our trip. This B&B has really won a place in our hearts.

The house is in a very secure and quiet area. You feel really safe. We stayed at the 3 bedroom apartment. It was very clean and spacious. The apartment looks much better than in the pictures. The kitchen is very comfortable and has all appliances. We were able to watch movies on Netflix. The staff and owner were very kind and helpful (they even did our laundry although it is not supposed to be included). The house is located 5 minutes drive from the Addo south gate. Best location!!
