Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Intschi

Very spacious and works beautifully for a family with older teens who need their own space. There’s also lots of things teens find exciting eg cinema, air hockey, pool table. Also very dog friendly. We have 2 large poodles and there is a secure space to let them outside at the side of the house and great walks from your doorstep. The best thing of all is the hospitality from our hosts. They could not have done more to take care of us.

The host was very friendly, helpful, and well-organized. All the information and instructions were provided clearly in advance, and everything was exactly as described. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We faced absolutely no issues during our stay. Overall, we had an awesome experience and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and would be happy to stay here again!

Very quiet, clean, cozy apartment. Extremely comfortable bed, great shower, everything needed in the kitchen. Easy communication and clear instructions. Nice walk along the river.

The staff were friendly and accomodating to us. They were flexible with check in times, allowing us to use their extra facilities and the owner Oliver drove me to Andermatt at 5 am in his van because the public transport had not started for the day.

Great location with amazing views. Well equipped and covered all ours needs for a single night. Good communication with the owner. Good water pressure and lovely modern bathroom. Kitchenette was good for holiday cooking. Luckily we brought soups and bought sandwiches before crossing from France to Switzerland as there were not many options to eat locally ).

First, I don’t usually give tens, but Hotel Gerig and their staff more than deserve it. They made our one-night stay exceptionally pleasant. Already at reception we immediately felt at home. When asked about a possible walk to take he went outside with us to show the way. Two other staff members were extremely nice to my 6-year old. The hotel is very nicely decorated with art and pictures all over. The restaurant has excellent evening food and breakfast and looks as welcoming as the rest. On top of that the bedroom was great! Easy to reach from Göschenen by bus (stop Wassen Dorf)

Perfect for me: location just before the north entrance to the tunnel. I needed an overnight stay when travelling from London to Abruzzo, Italy. This was ideal. Room was exactly what I needed: clean, decent bed, en suite, kettle, microwave, fridge, tea & coffee making supplies, WiFi, tv, parking, key fob access, quiet village, pet friendly. Good price, too. I didn’t need nor want a restaurant, I didn’t want any more facilities, i just needed a clean, safe and convenient place to stay, get some sleep after a long driving day and essentially break my journey. I’ll be returning, as this is on my usual route and works well to split the journey. No idea why there are negative comments: you can pay double this price in a similar location for very little more. If it’s an overnight, on-route stay, then job done.
