Self catering so breakfast not provided. Three supermarkets and a bakers two minutes walk from the apartment. Fully fitted kitchen within the apartment. Preferred however to eat out. Four restaurants in Erstfeld open for evening meals. Town is generally quiet as located on the "old route" to the Gotthard tunnel. A2 motorway close by with easy connections to Luzern, Zurich & Bellinzona. (note at time of visit (March 2026) only pass to Andermatt open. Would suit skiers.

Great location with amazing views. Well equipped and covered all ours needs for a single night. Good communication with the owner. Good water pressure and lovely modern bathroom. Kitchenette was good for holiday cooking. Luckily we brought soups and bought sandwiches before crossing from France to Switzerland as there were not many options to eat locally ).

It is super spacious and clean. A lot of room for the kids and adults. Kitchen was fully functional. The location of the property is next to the railway station and amidst natural beauty.

The host is very kind & warm, he did stay in contact even at late night as we had lost our way & let us use the barbeque even though it was not mentioned(he knows little English but that wasn't the issue). The kitchen is fully equipped with all the equipment that you need. The house is cozy with the best village & mountain view. You will feel like it's your own home!! Thank you Mr. Roland !
