The studio apartment was well set out and could sleep 4 at a pinch (but would be a bit cozy). There is a sleeping area on a mezzanine floor, with kitchenette, sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor. It is decorated in a modern Scandinavian style with the quirky addition of bedside tables supported by gnomes (!). It's situated in a country area and is on the same site as an equestrian facility (mainly polo and dressage as far as I could see). It's handy for Potsdam and it's art treasures (20 minutes drive) but a bit light on local restaurants (which seem to be mainly Italian - check out la Riva in Werder, a short drive away)

Featuring a private beach on Lake Plessowersee, this hotel is set in a quiet park next to the Märkischer Golf Club. Free Wi-Fi and a good restaurant with own brewed beer.

The apartment was what we were looking for when transiting Germany, good value for money and a lot of area by the beach for our dog. The restaurant was very good.

This hotel is set in beautiful parkland countryside in Päwesin, in the west of the Havelland Nature Reserve. Overlooking the Beetzsee Lake, Hotel Bollmannsruh offers free WiFi and a restaurant.
