Self Catering Accommodation in Deetz

The location is a remote part of Germany but close enough to Berlin to do a day trip or two by train. We were supposed to have a car so location wasn’t a problem but due to an unfortunate incident we were unable to get one. Our host drove us to the local shopping centre to buy some groceries as it was a long weekend and the local shops were going to be shut. On our return she arranged to borrow a bike from a friend so we had two bikes to go for a ride in this beautiful part of Germany. She also suggested we go for a walk down to the river which was spectacular. We took the long way but enjoyed it immensely. We also went for a big bike ride along the many bike paths around the area. A 24 hour metro ticket for two was only 12 euros so relatively cheap to get into Berlin. After which we were happy we stayed out of town. The cooking facilities were great along with the drip coffee machine. The freezer was huge as was the fridge almost as big. We would stay here again to explore the local area as it spectacular.

Generally it is nice house and good. But the hist do not check and answer the message o time.

Our host was super helpful with information about the area. She even suggested the Titanic expedition in Potsdam as it was raining one day we were there. The kitchen was well equipped. It was an easy drive to shops and sightseeing.

The studio apartment was well set out and could sleep 4 at a pinch (but would be a bit cozy). There is a sleeping area on a mezzanine floor, with kitchenette, sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor. It is decorated in a modern Scandinavian style with the quirky addition of bedside tables supported by gnomes (!). It's situated in a country area and is on the same site as an equestrian facility (mainly polo and dressage as far as I could see). It's handy for Potsdam and it's art treasures (20 minutes drive) but a bit light on local restaurants (which seem to be mainly Italian - check out la Riva in Werder, a short drive away)

Loved the peaceful location kitchen well equipped comfortable & well appointed

Beautifully decorated house, there was everything you need in the house. We loved the house. Helpful and friendly host.

Sehr sauber und einfache Einweisung durch das Video! Parkplätze und ein Park vor der Tür waren auch super.
