We were late and they waited for us to check in. They were very polite and helpful. The room is big and the bathroom as well. Very warm in the bathroom. Very comfy bed and liked the decoration. The breakfast was delicious and we liked the honey and wine they have for sale. They have parking upfront.

Lautenbach is a small village but ideally located for exploring the southern parts of Vosges mountains. The owner is very friendly and helpful, but also let us alone and independent, never bothering. I highly recommend this apartment as a good base for exploring the southern parts of Alsace.

We visited this hotel roughly 4 years ago from Australia, just when the couple took over the family business. Our stay then was fantastic, in particular the restaurant. As it was so good it was essential to add to our 12-day family hike with our adult kids through the Alsace to enjoy again. On arrival, we were extremely impressed at the level of investment and upgrades to the overall facility and rooms. We were welcomed at the door, cold drinks in the courtyard and impressive, modern and spacious rooms. In the 4 years since our last visit, the restaurant continues to develop and improve its craft, we wish we could dine here every week. Everything was excellent value, and in fact the lowest overall cost of the stay for a night across the 12 days. We will come back again, maybe cycling next time. Thank you for hosting us for an amazing stay.
