Casa Alice is located in the old city of Chioggia, at 20 mins walking from Sottomarina beach, 5 mins walk from the harbor and 5 mins walk from the bus station to Padova and Venice. If you're expecting luxury and other trendy-frenzy things, feel free to chose a different place. Instead, you will get a 2 bedrooms apartment with a large open space living and cooking area. You have a laundry washing machine, plenty of towels, dishes, air conditioning and basically most of what you need. Supermarkets are very close and the host has free bikes to use. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and the food is simply delicious. Pasta, pizza, seafood, local shops for fresh fruits and vegetables, plus various types of delicious cheese and salami. Don't forget the prosecco... the area of Veneto and Treviso has several local brands of prosecco which are pretty cheap and delicious. Don't miss it. As previously mentioned, it's not a luxury location, not sparkling clean, etc - but I felt like home and will be the 1st choice in case we return in the area.
