Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Lu

The continental breakfast that you can book in addition to the sweet italian breakfast was lovely, with local and seasonal food and little culinary surprises. The host was super friendly and helpful.

The flat was absolutely fantastic, already cooled down, really clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. There were bags with tea and some biscuits on the table. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. My daughters and I were travelling on the bikes and got stuck in a storm and I really appreciate the very friendly communication. The host also covered our bikes when it started raining again. We were also treated home made pizza. But please don't expect this as it was a special treat based on the circumstances. We felt like we were at home. I hope we can come again one day. We only stayed one night but it's a very nice place to stay longer. Grazir mille

Very helpful staff. Moved tables at side of restaurant so that I could park motorcycle off the road. Room was great and having restaurant on site was a bonus. Needed to leave early to get to ferry at Ancona, so they packed me a takeaway breakfast. Very kind of them.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cascina Mima. Super quiet and peaceful place with a lovely host and dog. Beautiful rooms and delicious, extensive breakfast. Perfect romantic getaway!! Thank you Elisabetta and Merlino

Le Zucche Vuote was an excellent choice. I spent one night in the Cucu room which was spaciuos, tastefully decorated in a simple way, very clean with crisp fresh smelling bed linen. The room also has a kettle, which is rare in this type of accomodation in Italy. The best thing about this place however is the service: Battista has been so helpful, even before I get there assisting with solving an issue with a wrong date in my reservation (my fault) and providing detailed instructions for the arrival. While I was there, Battista helped with everything and the breakfast (freshly squeezed orange, two fresh croissants and a cappuccino) was top. I would highly recommend Le Zucche Vuote.

We were attracted to Il Chiostro by the photographs of the house, but the reality far exceeded our expectations: the guest house itself is beautiful, furnished with exquisite taste, and very comfortable. The living area is airy and cool, with a beautiful stone floor and excellent lighting, and the bathrooms are both gorgeous, with excellent showers. Outside the house is the most beautiful little patio garden, with a miniature shaded colonnade and formally laid out flower beds planted with a riot of interesting plants. Every time I walked out of the front door my heart lifted at the sight of it. And the panoramic views surrounding the house have to be seen to be appreciated - falling away from the courtyard fence the terraced garden of Roberto and Ester, and, beyond, an undulating quilt of green meadows rising and falling, patched with copses and studded with little hilltop villages. It is breath-taking. The peace and quiet of the place are striking. In the mornings you hear nothing but the birds, and at night you can feel the silence as a physical presence. If it is tranquillity and escape that you are looking for, this is the ideal. And then there is Camagna itself. As I told Roberto, our charming host, I was reluctant to tell anybody about it, for fear that it would get 'discovered'. Camagna is a throw-back to an older Italy of 30, even 50 years ago, off the tourist trail and with a stealthy charm that takes hold of you. The bar is a wonderful place to go for breakfast or an aperitif; the filled croissants are delicious, and the lady who runs is is a delight. There is also a fantastic restaurant in Camagna: Roca del Carmagna, and if you go, you must try it. We spent our days driving around exploring the little towns and villages round about and visiting Casale, the nearest town. Roberto and Ester were endlessly helpful and charming hosts, and, to my partner's great delight, even gave us a goose egg from one of their geese! We left with great...

So clean and oxana could not have been more helpful

Excellent central location in the village with stunning view of cathedral from the window on one side of the property, and rolling hills of Monferrato on the other. Friendly people in the bar across. The host meet us literally in 3 mins or so as we arrived. We had all we needed for our short stay. Plus , many thanks to the caring host for arranging the mail.

The apartment was very clean and nice. The little village was quiet and charming. We liked it a lot.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful views, amazing host, great breakfast!

Antonella is very helpful and offers a fantastic breakfast in a very tasteful environment. The rooms have a romantic atmosphere, are real comfy and even equipped with a kettle for tea. If you do like the Italian landscape, the vineyards, culinary delights, culture and nature (birdwatching at the river Po is in easy distance) this is the right spot to be. Do not miss out on the fabulous restaurant next door! Grazie mille per la Sua ospitalità!

Perfect location, views were incredible, pool also incredible, facilities great for a big group including the barbecue
