The owner and house keeper were very kind and helpfull. The 15 meter pool, the covered terrace and fridge next to it, made us stay at the pool whole days. In the evening we moved up one terrace where there is a big bbq and a huge family table. We enjoyed the dinners here with our whole family of 10 persons.

An amazing structure from the medieval era set among picturesque rolling hills. Ideal for those who are looking to spend a few nights in a time capsule with the added comfort of modern amenities. Upon arrival the reception staff was very helpful and available. Breakfast was offered by the property caretakers, a couple who were genuinely sweet, generous and pleasant to discuss with. Upon our preparation to depart on an early morning after having breakfast, we were given croissants for the road - pure good hearted and mindful hosting. Thank you:) There are also wineries, and top restaurants less than a 10 minute drive. Without a doubt, if ever in the area again, we will be staying at Castello Valenzino.

We paid extra for a breakfast basket both mornings. It was full of local fresh produce and made the stay very special to be sat outside on the table in the shade. The hosts were warm and welcoming. It is a special place to visit.
