This converted mill nestles in a secret valley in the mountains of Lunigiana and offers its guests timeless peace and tranquility in an area of natural beauty . The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable and the food consists of locally sourced ingredients and traditional dishes of the region . We enjoyed the morning meditation session in the open air before breakfast . A lovely way to start the day . Swimming in the river is beautiful too, and there are lots of walking trails to explore. Valentina and Gisella are friendly and welcoming hosts.

Wonderful and cozy place! Warm and clean. There is a parking space. I really liked the idea with the shelves, very comfortable and does not take up much space. The only thing was that we could not open the shutters ourselves during the day, so it was quite dark in the room, but this did not affect our stay at all.

An unforgettable experience – Impeccable in every way! We stayed at this place for 8 days, and it was truly a unique experience. The cleanliness was outstanding from the moment we arrived—everything was spotless, and not a single corner was overlooked. The beds were extremely comfortable, with linens that could easily rival (or even surpass) those of a luxury hotel—clean and pristine. The house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need: from a washing machine and dishwasher to high-quality kitchen utensils, all in perfect working condition. We felt right at home from day one. We had the pleasure of being welcomed by the owners, two of the kindest and most pleasant people to be around. They not only recommended great places to visit but also surprised us with fresh fruits and vegetables from their family garden. It was a beautiful, unexpected gesture that we truly appreciated. The garden and outdoor areas were simply stunning. Each space had its own charm, and we enjoyed every corner throughout our stay. The place is perfect for rest and relaxation, surrounded by greenery and fresh air. The sunrises were like something out of a postcard. We were completely captivated and left wanting to come back again and again. Highly recommended!

It is a beautiful place outside of Pontremoli town (15 minutes by car). Greatly renovated old village house with 3 (plus one connected to the main bedroom) bedrooms (one in detached building), three bathrooms, couple of great terraces, great pool and amazing views on the mountains. Great trekking paths along the river valley.

Very nice indoor pool, though it's too deep to leave young children unattended. The staff were great. I was alone, but this place would be great for kids and a place for parents to relax. Expect to eat your dinners at the restuarant.

Lovely restaurant and nice walk in to Pontremoli

Amazing property, facilities and welcome from Livia & Thomas. We were a family of 8, 3 adult children and partners and this was perfect as everyone had their own space, sitting area and privacy whilst also having lots of communal space. The property has been removed to a very high standard and we loved every moment of our stay. Livia couldn’t do enough for you and made our stay very relaxing. Thomas you’ve done a fine job renovating with so much attention to detail and care. It’s a credit to you.

This house is an absolute gem. If you look for a place hidden away from all the hectic and stress of the world this is it. The house is super spacious, starting with its big inviting marble floor entrance hall and continuing into all the four large double bedrooms. All of them have their own big bathrooms and balconies or terraces with spectacular views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. The sunsets and sunrises are unbelievable. Every room is fitted with its own aircondition though i cannot say how well they work as when we were there we were more in need of heating and that worked really well throughout the house. The kitchen is fantastic and a real fun place to work in. Loads of marble tables where you can make your own pasta and a very good gas stove. The pans and pots are of a really good quality. The house breathes history and has lots of original features with the original marble floors, great french windows and even a pasta table with the original rolling pin. In case of questions or queries, the owner Nikola can always be contacted through WhatsApp and will answer pretty much immediately. We stayed at the house for 7 days and extended by 2 more nights because we liked it that much. Out of ten to me the place deserves 11 stars.
