Convenient location for access to airport, tatsugo, and northern areas. Very quiet and calm area. Kitchen has all the equipment you need to throw together a meal. Hosts were very kind!

Overall, we had an amazing stay, and it was very affordable, even during Golden Week. I highly recommend staying here. This gorgeous house is about a 15 minute drive from the airport. We had a group of 7 people and had plenty of space. The downstairs room has a double bed and 2 futons. I think there were 3 futons in each of the 2 upstairs rooms. The house has 1 bathroom downstairs next to the washer/dryer. There are 3 toilets - 1 in the downstairs bedroom, 1 near the entry, and 1 at the top of the stairs. The 7 of us fit comfortably around the dining table for meals. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and equipment. There is a fridge, microwave, stove, oven, electric kettle, and rice cooker. I recommend you look through the kitchen before buying some items, as we saw a lot of oil, sugar, and various sauces. There was also some plastic wrap and aluminum foil that we used. The house has gorgeous wood furniture and decorative carvings, which give a rich homey feeling. Since our flight arrived around 6pm, the host suggested we stop at the nearby grocery store to buy essentials since many places on the island close early. When we arrived at the house, the door was unlocked and we called the host for check-in. She gave us a quick tour of the facilities and was very helpful with beach and restaurant recommendations during our stay. The house also has an ice machine on the patio and air conditioners in several rooms. There's a small portable bbq in the back that is free to use, but we didn't have a chance to use it. The living room has an ornate wooden table that we used in the evenings to play games. There are some toys and books for children too, so it seems very family-friendly.

Excellent location, close to the airport and one of the best beaches in Amami! Room was spacious and view from balcony you could see the sun rise every morning ☀️! Breakfast buffet was delicious with variation each day. Loved the bread and watermelon! Evening restaurant was just as delicious. Tomori beach is a 15mins walk via an easy to walk path. Staff were helpful and happy to help! Ask for the free shuttle bus to and from the airport ✈️

Everything is perfect. The house s tucked in a quiet neighborhood. You will enjoy short walk to two beaches (one is in cove so it’s gentle, perfect for beach picnic, the other one has good wave, perfect for surfing). The owner is so accommodating and kind. The house is impeccably updated and layout of the house is well thought out. This is an exceptional vacation house.

Wonderful host. Doesn't speak english but we made it work. He met us there to make sure we had everything we needed. He had heated up the outdoor bath which was wonderful. The house is just across from a beautiful quiet white sand beach. The outdoor bath was amazing. The house had all we need. By the pictures we thought we were getting a bigger house. But we got the mini house next door. No complaints, it had all we need. We had a very relaxing stay. Secluded, but at the same time just 10min away from either a small store or restaurant. Bigger grocery stores are maybe a 20min drive. But beautiful drive.
