It was in to small town 30 train ride from downtown Kanazawa with incredible local chefs that cook with locally caught fresh fish some caught that morning , and the nicest small onsen that has and incredible natural spring and a great small cold bath , please share. Also incredibly kind hosts who truly made my stay so nice and extremely thoughtful.

Awesome location, nice size room for the money. Felt so private and cozy. Very close walk to the train and you'll pick up your keys at the station upon arrival. Very easy! Employees are really nice, you are in a small town so please be respectful and plan ahead. If you want to do the BBQ it is done by the host to plan accordingly when scheduling.

Staying at B&B Mikawa was not just the best stay I had in Japan, it’s the best stay I had in my life! Not only is the villa so beautiful, comfortable, and just PERFECT, but Sasa-san really goes above and beyond for the guests! He is the best manager (owner?) you will ever meet! He speaks amazing English, is so helpful with questions and giving recommendations for everything, and just knows how to create a great stay experience! I met some of his staff too and they were also all so kind and friendly! I would gladly come back to Mikawa just for the experience of staying at B&B Mikawa again, it’s sooo relaxing and peaceful here! Thank you SO much Sasa-san for the best stay of my life!

Detailed directions were provided to easily access the home. The property was spacious, very clean with nice amenities (including thoughtful offerings of slippers and toiletry kits). The home has beautiful interior details including classical decor. Kitchen area is inviting and a nice place to hangout and socialize after spending the day roaming around Kanazawa. The location was great for proximity to temple and chaya districts which made for frequent nice strolls through these amazing areas.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We had the smaller unit with beds for up to five people (there were only four of us). The house was clean and new. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom with washer (although I hope the host provides the laundry detergent for future guests and the laundry drying rack:) The location is great, very walkable to sightseeing and the parking is right at the front door. I highly recommend this house and hope to come back soon!
