Everything was great at this hotel from the minute I arrived. Reception staff was friendly and efficient. Room was spacious, modern, really clean with kettle, microwave, free WiFi, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with many choices available and layout of food area was exceptional.

Very spacious room, nice staff, good breakfast, good gym! We took a bus or uber to town. Very easy! Nice and quiet area with some good shopping malls and food market nearby!

The bed was comfy and well-appointed, perfect after 31 hours on the train. My room had a large window looking west over the boulevard; with earplugs, I was not bothered by passing traffic. Service was friendly upon check-in. Great value for the Bay Area, less than half the cost of a room in Emeryville. Emeryville Amtrak station is 15 minutes away by foot. Downtown Oakland is a 20-30 minute walk along Market and San Pablo streets.
