Chan and her husband are very nice and welcoming people. The place is in a beautiful setting amongst the rice terraces. We went on a trek with Chan and she took us to beautiful places in the valley, not too busy with other tourists. She speaks very good English and explained lots of interesting things about the Hmong culture and their lifestyle. We enjoyed our stay and the trek with Chan and would recommend it to anyone coming to Sapa. We were happy that we have chosen to stay with a local family in the village of Tavan and not in the city of Sapa.

The huts were great! Amazing view of Sapa, a mosquito net around the whole bed was included and greatly appreciated. There was a kettle to use in the room and the included breakfast options were great. You could also rent scooters directly through Eco Hills which made it easy to get around and explore. Would highly recommend staying here.

Had such a wonderful stay! Although we were there when the weather was very unfavourable, we still had a great time. The hosts were more than incredible, the food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time, and the trekking we did was lovely! Beds very comfortable. Co recommended going to a hot herbal bath in the village and it was great! We will be coming back one day :)

The first time that I stay at the Homestay, it's so interesting, the room/ bangalow looks simple but comfortable & clean. It's much different from that I thought about it before. The view from the room you can see the terrace field around the house, very naturally. The host is so friendly & well cook dinner, breakfast for us. Eat local foods, meet local people... Try & enjoy 😊 I'm sure you will like this place.
