Cosy little lodge with superb views. Great features in the lodge, such as the braai, hot tub and fireplace. Nice little quirky and funky decor features added to make this a unique and memorable stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and delivered us a bag of ice to save us a drive into the nearest town. The drive leading to/from the accommodation was stunning, with fun windy roads.

The location is extraordinary! What a beautiful valley with small bays along the river. The cottage is big and very comfortable. The hosts are very hospitable. They came to greet us and showed the beautiful spots along the river down the valley. This place is an absolute gem where we wished we would have stayed longer.

Must say pictures could not do justice for this place.. Must experience it your self. My resting place tonight is amazing .I needed this ,after hectic working long weekend. Esmarie were very helpful and the food served by Janine took me places, Roosterkoek with butter ,jam and cheese, Sjoe felt the whole farm experience i love so much .At night the moon and stars were so bright .Electricity were not even needed.

Nice and clean and private, just need more wood to braai only small and thin chopped 10 pieces. As to buy more but nothing. Shops was close.

This is a quiet little gem in Calitzdorp. There is a lovely shared braai area, and table for outdoor enjoyment in a courtyard with the added treat of a plunge pool for hot evenings. For cold weather there is a generous shared covered verandah and an indoor dining room with a kitchen. The air conditioned bedroom was lovely. Angela has paid a lot of careful attention to detail. She was very attentive to all our needs. A big bonus, is a designated parking on the property with a security gate for safety. Highly recommended.
