This is our 2nd year at Belkampar, and we love love love it. It has everything we need, so homey and comfortable for all our families. So close to the lake. Cherished memories for our special group of friends. So well stocked kitchen that I get to indulge in baking and feeding everyone and many wonderful meals shared at the Bonnie Doon pub when we are too tired from boating and skiing all day. Exceptional space for everyone to be together but still have quiet space if needed. Did I mention how much we love it here and how comfortable the space makes us all feel. Sarah & Stan are outstanding hosts.

My friend and I stayed the night here on a bike trip. The motel was such a lovely treat to arrive at. The place was clean, setup with care and attention to little details, and the managers were incredibly responsive. It is just around the corner from the town centre, so it was super convenient to get to food, and the walk around the pondage that's across the way was just beautiful. We were so delighted with everything! Also, I lost my little traveling companion stuffie that I have taken with me on many bike adventures, across four countries and two continents. They were kind enough not just to do a thorough search, but also asked for a photo to post on the town's Facebook page. It was just so kind of them to do what they could to help alleviate my distress.

Situated in Howqua, The Black Sparrow features a tennis court and free WiFi. The 4-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Each room includes a balcony with a mountain view. We spent some wonderful moments in silence and surrounded by beautiful nature I don't know if there is any other place where you can see so many stars in the sky at night. We highly recommend it, a great place for two.
