The host, Dominic, is so kind, helpful, great to chat with, and an excellent cook! He provided us with great recommendations for food, tour companies and transport. We woke up to roosters, toucans, parrots, and many other birds calling each morning and were served delightful coffee and breakfast daily. We also had the option of delicious suppers on site for a small extra fee. The beds were very comfortable and rooms clean / well appointed. The cottage is located close to the Xunantunich archeological reserve such that we could walk there and back with our adventurous kids. That saved us on having to hire a tour company for the day. This is an incredibly place with a very gracious and communicative host. Plus, my kids loved the dogs and cats on the farm.

This property was INCREDIBLE. Beautiful views and SO much to do!! The host were amazing and friendly! They helped us set up rides/taxis between destinations. All our needs were met promptly and our stay was 11/10. We will be coming back and staying in the new villas that the hosts are building. 1000000% recommend.

Our stay at Villa Massis made our vacation. It was our 3rd and final stop in Belize. We were planning to stay in San Ignacio; however the hotel we checked into was dismal. After a search on Booking.com we were fortunate to secure a last minute booking. The Villa’s suite, was just our vibe. From the decor, the location, the pool, the food (we ate all our dinners there and the lovely staff, it was perfect. Did I mention, I saw toucans and heard the monkeys? I would definitely go back.

They bent over backwards to accommodate anything we needed. Breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. A/C worked great.

San Ignacio Resort Hotel was absolutely AMAZING — one of the best stays we’ve had. The property is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is genuinely warm and helpful. They were amazing in every way: friendly, attentive, and proactive without ever being pushy. Every time we had a question or needed anything, they handled it quickly and made us feel genuinely taken care of. Everything from check-in to the grounds to the overall service was top-notch. The location was also PERFECT — easy walking distance to downtown and the market, which made it so convenient to explore. We did have one small mistake during dinner one night, but what really stood out was how management handled it. They owned it immediately, apologized, and went above and beyond to make it right. That level of care says everything. We stayed in the Royal Suite and LOVED it — spacious, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after a full day of exploring.
