Guilin village creek is an amazingly friendly and cozy place to stay. It's situated in a tiny quiet town and the inside feels like a Swiss cottage. Michelle and her team were extremely welcoming. With tea and fruit on arrival, always there to help out with booking trips, giving dumpling workshops, guiding us around on the local market, making delicious meals, providing us with meds when our son got sick one night. And much more. The room was cozy and cleaned every day. It was winter when we were there, but the heating system made it nice and comfortable. The meals in the restaurant downstairs are fresh and made with a lot of love. And we could even borrow the owners bikes with kids seats for free, with which we made some amazing bike rides through the area. You're half an hour bike ride away from the city. And with a taxi (very cheap) you can reach several interesting places in the bigger area.

Village has a couple of shops, cafes and restaurants. Only 15 minutes from the stations and city center. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially towards our young children, which made us feel very welcome.

Loved this little "inn" on the pedestrian walkway right outside numerous restaurants and souvenir shops and people watching galore. Hard to find so enquire with owner before arriving as your taxi can't drive you to door. Hotel is everything one would want with a comfortable bed/linens, free water, cleanliness a priority, view spectacular and friendly staff who were so helpful and even spoke English for extra understanding. I loved this place for the cost it was super. Stayed only 3 nights but would love to go back for more. Location was perfect for tours and walking to river for cruises. Don't miss the handmade yogurt shop two doors down for the best fresh fruit/yogurt with nuts you'll ever try. And Rosewood Cafe for some international food which like me you might be craving is you are a foreigner and tired of oily veggies and rice!

Our stay at 桂林和舍湖畔度假民宿 GuiLin HeShe lake resort was perfect. They kindly upgraded my room to a suite ! The service availability, quick response and kindness was awesome, also note the fact that they are all speaking English perfectly. Even if I had to shorten my stay for professional obligations they managed everything accordingly. The hotel and rooms itself are clean and well organized. The view from the room is beautiful and everything is calm, ensuring restful nights and awesome breakfast in room (that they kindly bring to you perfectly following your requirements). Everyone is listening to your every need and this was a wonderful stay. 100% would return if staying in Guilin.

Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. The location is perfect. The owner and staff are super helpful and welcoming. The day trips were incredible.

Exceeded All Expectations! "Our stay here was nothing short of perfect.The room was modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable we slept like babies. The rooftop bar offers stunning views of the city, and the breakfast buffet had a huge variety of delicious options. A truly 5-star experience."

Perfect place to book if you're planning to climb in Yangshuo. Lilly sorted out gear and electric mopeds for us for the duration of our stay and gave us crag locations on our phones, just made the whole experience so easy and hassle-free. The rooms themselves were as you would expect from the photos, very clean, the location is great as it's extremely close to the main centre in Yangshuo but just a couple streets back so it's much more quiet, and on a beautiful tree lined street. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we came back to Yangshuo.

Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. Nice location along Yulong River. There are bicycles which you can rent from the accommodation which is a good way to explore the nearby Yulong River.
