The entire staff was very friendly. Also their english was pretty good and it helped me alot having very limited spanish.

Abel Boutique House se află în Cartagena de Indias, aproape de Castelul San Felipe de Barajas, Palatul Inchiziției și Parcul Bolivar. When we visited, Abel was brand new, and no one had actually slept in the room we got before us. With that, it was super fresh and all nice and clean. The bed was really comfy and pillows as well. Also, many places along the Caribbean shore don't have warm showers, but here, they did. Where we stayed, in the garden house on the north side of the street (Abel has two houses, one of each side of the street), it was an outdoor patio as well. Perfect for exercise! What we also liked was that they gave us breakfast (fresh fruit, coffee and cereal) in the morning, and they also had a laundry service we used before continuing on our carribean tour. Well needed :) Abel is located on Manga, which is a location we really like. It is a short walk to the bridge, taking you to the (old) city center, but way calmer than inside the main city. Around the corner is a nice marina and a good outdoor sportcenter, which we like to use.
