It's inside a residence and you can have meals in the garden with a view of the nearby mountains. The breakfast of muesli and pancakes were good! Lenny is a very hospitable host, and she can give you recommendations where to go... she offers tours and other activities and I think even transport to Prague (better to contact her directly through the app to be sure). There is a free parking spot in front of the house. Pets are allowed, and they have a very sweet and friendly dog. The surrounding area is charming, with the fields of yellow rapeseed flowers blooming in the spring. I saw in the activities list quarry swimming, which can be nice to try in the summer.

Set 600 metres from Karlštejn Castle, Pension Bellevue offers studios with their own kitchenettes and large furnished terraces. It features views of the castle and the nearby golf course. Beautiful room with basic cooking facilities (a saucepan in addition to the frying pan would help people self catering). Very quite at night. The use of the roof top terrace with a view of the castle was a bonus. Really nice being able to relax above the crowds have a drink or 2, admire the castle and be happy that you don’t need to get back to Prague.

Set in Černošice, Stary dum provides a garden and free WiFi. At the hotel, rooms are equipped with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. Every room is fitted with a private bathroom with a shower. Lovely room with a beautiful view and location. The staff was really friendly and super nice. Would definitely recommend this place for your stay.

Located in Karlštejn, 100 metres from Karlštejn Castle and 500 metres from Berounka River, U Královny Dagmar offers free WiFi in all areas, free on-site parking and rooms with a private bathroom. - The location is beautiful: it is located under the castle of Karlstejn, along a pedestrial area, but you can go by car there and park inside the property. - Train station is 5min far by car and there are one or two train an hour to Prague. - The room is very big and clean: inside you can find a table and a fridge and outside there is a boiler to common use. - Breakfast is very good: there are typical sweets and a variety of sliced and fruits (you eat a lot!!) - The owner is very kind and managed to satisfy all our request (you can chat or phone him to ask what you need)

Located in the village of Karlstejn, this air-conditioned 4-star hotel is just 500 meters below Karlstejn Castle and overlooks Berounka River. Location could not be better, right on the main road near the castle. The room was very clean, breakfast was ample. Would definitely stay here again
