Tampere Maja offers accommodation in an 18th century wooden house in the heart of the Old Town of Tartu. There is a cultural club in the cellar, showing exhibitions of Estonian and Finnish art. Excellent service, quiet and great beds.

The Antonius is a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Tartu, directly opposite the main building of Tartu university. Tartu Town hall is 170 metres away. Lovely rooms and friendly staff. The location was great as was the breakfast.

I had a bit issue opening the door and she provided instruction help me open it immediately, also when I mentioned it is cold inside the apartment she arranged additional heater in an hour. Cannot thank her more. Tartu is definitely cold in this season. Place is nice clean and well maintained. Though not quite the city centre but with easy access to bus.
