Wonderful room with coumfy bed and lovel decor, also truly stunning bathroom. Truly lovely staff who had gone out of their way for us and there was some special cider left in our room and a cider cake for our honeymoon. All in all couldnt be better! Stunning location also, very peaceful.

Fabulous hotel with the most comfy and spotlessly clean room and best cooked breakfast you will find. Owners are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Made to feel really welcome. Would have no hesitation in staying here when next in the area and could recommend staying here without doubt. You will not be disappointed.

Situated 41 km from Kingsholm Stadium, The Paddocks Cottages offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden and barbecue facilities. The location was fantastic there are plenty of walks to choose from and some lovely dog friendly pubs locally. Will definitely look at returning some time.

Featuring a garden and views of river, Grove Farm B&B is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Newnham, 23 km from Kingsholm Stadium. Grove B&B is a terrific place. It's a very old building with large wooden beams, and not an even floorboard anywhere. That, together with the adventurous driveway (which I wouldn't advice to use with a sports car, but even our crappy little French hire car did it just fine), added to the feeling of seclusion and remoteness, which was very relaxing. However, modern comfort like WIFI and a good shower was all there. Penny and David were extremely hospitable, breakfast was excellent, there was a comfortable lounge for relaxing after a days' worth of outings. The bed was very comfortable, I slept like a log. The Forest of Dean and the River Severn are a beautiful area.

Lighting was very good, pleasant garden front and rear, outside seating, quiet neighbourhood, ample parking and convenient location for the Forest of Dean. Note: Very narrow road access, slope up to property from parking and steep up to the top of the garden okay for us but unsuitable for small children or guests with mobility issues.
