We were three people staying here and were truly enchanted by everything the house had to offer. The rather traditional look immediately drew us in, yet it was impressively modern and well-equipped. We had plenty of space, a beautiful garden, and the sauna sessions were incredibly relaxing. The owners are unbelievably kind! They picked us up from the station on the day we arrived and even drove us back when we checked out. Our two nights in Tamano were exactly what we needed during our packed trip. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the calm and charm of small-town Japan. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next trip to Japan!

Very spacious, fantastically equipped, beautiful traditional decor, reasonable price. The location is maybe a little out of the way for public transport but great if travelling by car. The town itself is traditional and full of character and the surrounding countryside is lovely. We hope to go back for a longer stay one day.
