The Old Vicarage erbjuder boende i Reefton. Pensionatet erbjuder även gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Hands down, the Old Vicarage is the absolute most enjoyable BnB we have ever stayed in. It's very spacious. It's NOT a typical kiwi motel (which we had been frequenting around the south island til then). It has an old, comfortable "relaxing in your slippers" kind of feel to it. The beautiful polished wood (pine?) flooring was a joy to behold. We arrived quite early, because of rain which forced us to decide to skip a portion of our planned route. As soon as we got there I thought, this is a LOT better than what we had planned. We started a fire in the welcoming fireplace, using the firewood supplied. We scoured the library and the movie collection, and found that we really needed to stay for about 3 months, there were so many books and movies we wanted to read/watch. The gardens are lovely (a tad less so in the rain, but still...). Overall, it felt more like home than home does. We really loved this place. Can't say that about most motels.

Westholm Lodge ligger i Harihari och erbjuder boende med en balkong eller uteplats, gratis WiFi och platt-tv samt en trädgård och en terrass. It was a lovely accommodation in a wonderful garden and rural setting. The hostess was very welcoming and hospitable. Tastefully decorated and the spa in our room was fabulous. It was a treat to have dinner with the other guests.

Lake Brunner Longhouse har utsikt över trädgården och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge och en balkong, 34 km från Greymouth järnvägsstation. Everything was over the top. The hostess went beyond and above anything we expected. She picked us up and dropped us off at the train station,as well as shuttling us to trailheads. Fantastic hostess!

Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park ligger i en fantastisk historisk regnskog och vandringsled. Här erbjuds 5-stjärnigt boende med tillgång till en trädgård och en grill. Great location, wonderful nature ambiance, there's even a nice waterfall hike and glowworms at the property. It's very calm, the Kiwi room was very comfy (and near the bathrooms so no long walks in the cold to the shower 😉). The amenities were nearby and offered everything we needed, and there is even a small shop at the reception for your basic needs. Our only regret is that we didn't book another night here as well.

Forest Edge har utsikt över bergen och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och en balkong, 13 km från Punakaiki Scenic Attraction. Beauteous space, artistic, serene, one with the surroundings! The space told a story and inspired me. Everything you need, Reba thought of. The place was adorned with two flower arrangements she put together. Would love to return!

At The Ghost Lodge, 2 sets of French doors open out to a sunny deck that has sea views and a spa pool. Great host! The lodge is very clean and the decor interesting. We heard the waves crashing all night. Simon built us a fire overlooking the ocean as the sun was setting. Magical!
