All of the minor annoyances we usually encounter were not there. The ensuite had a fair sized cubicle with a good shower and a basket for toiletries, there was a lot of storage space, flat surfaces near the hand basin for your toiletries, hooks on the wall and even a proper plug which worked. The sofa provided comfortable seating for both of us as did the table and four chairs. There was a wardrobe with sufficient shelves and hanging space for two people with proper wooden coat hangers not the usual pin and socket type loved by hotels. The kitchenette is extremely well equipped with oven, induction hob, full size fridge and microwave so as to enable full self catering. There are even four bins - three dedicated to recycling. The apartment is well soundproofed both internally and externally (with the windows closed obviously). Wifi reception is excellent. This is also access to a laundry containing both washing machine and a dryer as well as the usual drying racks. Finally due to self check in we did not meet the owner but he was in constant communication with us and quickly responded to any message.

We had an amazing stay! The property is so beautiful with a breathtaking view on Sao Jorge! Our room was very comfy, super clean. The commun rooms are really clean and there is enough space to hangout and have a good time. The location is great and they provide a taxi service which is cheaper than the taxi company on the island. But the best from this place is our host! This lovely couple who are so welcoming, sweet, friendly and available for their guests! They are making you living the dream with them! Thank you again for this amazing moment!

The hosts were very kind and welcoming, giving us tips for multiple activities around the island and making sure we have everything we need during our stay. Highly recommended, really great value for the price. We'd love to come back and stay longer.

Great views from the balcony across the bay. Lovely apartment which was well equipped. Our washing dried super quick outside with the help of the Azorian breeze! We met the owner as we arrived a little early. We were greeted with great kindness and a a lovely basket of fruit and goodies were left for us on the table. The place was comfortable and clean. The road down was a bit steep and narrow but the reward of the property is worth the drive. The place is on the water with steps down to get to the water. We loved our stay. thank you
