Loved everything about this place! Very spacious and open, loved being on the sea. No AC but it didn’t matter as the design of the place meant that there was a nice breeze throughout so it wasn’t too hot ( not sure how it would be when the weather is really hot though.) The bedroom windows were open wooden slats with no glass so you could hear the sea and everything around. The host was great and left a gift of fresh crab and fruit. Fabulous place that I would highly recommend if you want to switch off from the bustle of life.

There’s so much to explore nearby, beautiful beaches, great restaurants and bars, local markets, and even Ko Samet island. We especially loved Kai Seafood, a restaurant on the beach just a few minutes away by walk. The retreat has everything you need to relax, like a pool, billiards, and ping pong. Mercure Rayong Lomtalay Villas and Resort is the newest and the trendiest destination in Rayong with a wide range of accommodation and facilities. Located in two wings, the Everything.... The hotel is in 2 locations about 500m apart....but there is a convenient shuttle bus between them. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Bathroom is good and well supplied with toiletries. Both pools are excellent.... One sea front and the other larger pool are both nicely designed and have near perfect temperature. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Honestly can not fault the place. A perfect stay.
