Traveling for work you can never really say how late you will check in but at 4on Braemar it is no hassle. The check in was easy and super fast. Communication with the host was effortless and they answered all questions and request without delay. Amazing space with Wonderfull relaxing shower and garden. The dogs also quite enjoyed the stay.

It was exactly what we needed for a family weekend catch up. We live abroad and came back to South Africa for some travels and to meet up with family and wanted to do an early family Christmas dinner and Ashleigh even arranged for a Christmas tree and lights for us which was so lovely and unexpected. The house was very clean with all the cooking and cleaning utensils you could need. Anything else we needed Ashleigh was just a message away and happy to help. He kept us informed about the loadshedding schedule and helped with back up power if we needed it. The views are lovely and the walks in the area are beautiful. Inhlazane mountain is nearby as well and was a fantastic little hike. The midlands meander is not far and it's easy to explore the cute cafes and galleries in the area. I would highly recommend this property.

Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. We really enjoyed our time at Tugela River Lodge. There’s so many things to do within the property like kayak, mountain bike, trails, and little farm area. It’s very clean and the staff and owner are super friendly and always willing to assist. The farm stall has a lot of supplies, so if you forget anything you wouldn’t even need to drive out. Very pet friendly as well - everything we could do with our little mini dachshund. She loved her time there and the fenced off area is big and safe. The wood-fired tub is an amazing way to wind down. The view is amazing and Bheki always comes to help fire it up ahead of time. All in all a fantastic experience as a couple, and I’m sure it’d be lovely for a family and friends group too!

The hosts were amazing thank you Megan and Gary, the venue superb, my family was truly amazed at the majestic scenery. A truly beautiful place to visit and stay Graceland is one of the best accommodations we have ever booked. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

We had an absolutely lovely stay and are already planning to go back soon. The host went above and beyond to make it as comfortable as possible, also one of the cleanest, well kept places we have stayed in.
