Room, bed and bathroom were comfortable, modern, clean and good. The problem was that the room was very hot. There was no aircon, which I expected from a 4 star hotel of this standard. For sustainability reasons perhaps? But then they could at least have a fan. Because of the heat, we had to open the window, and as the hotel is in the centre of the village, we were kept awake until 2am by people yelling, singing and partying very loudly in the square below. I did not expect a tiny village to be this noisy on an ordinary Tuesday night. So a hot and noisy night. Other than that, everything good, excellent breakfast, great view of the lake from our room. Nice spa area with great lake view.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet location with a great view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. We really liked it here, the apartment is very well equipped with everything you need. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We received many useful tips for trips, restaurants etc. We would love to come back here again.

Really nice apartment, close to the lake and with nice view. We got a last-minute discount to stay for one night in Gmunden and we enjoyed the stay very much despite the weather was not very friendly for summer.

    The location is stunning by the Traunsee (alpine lake). Great for swimming in warm weather, hiking other times. Very peaceful. The hosts live upstairs, and knew when I was coming, so the door was open with key inside. The hosts are also easy to contact if needed.

    Famous location of Baadhaus just on Traunsee in very nice small city Traunkirchen. Owner family very friendly and helpful to recommend activities around (like hiking to Feuerkogel or to enjoy skywalk on Grunberg) . Hotel is "green" sustainable energy production. By recommendation of Josef (owner), we travel to Hallstatt via train where train station is just 5min walk. Our room had very nice terrace from which you can look on Traunsee as well to nice chapel up the hill.

    Fantastic location on lake front, modern, bright, functional and clean apartment, very nice host. Free table tennis table and well equipped gym. Icecream place and excellent restaurant withing a few metres from the apartment, otherwise very quiet and peaceful. Our teens had a great time swimming and oaddling in the lake.

    Beautiful location on one of the best and most beautiful lakes in Austria, Traunsee. Town Traunkirchen is incredibly picturesque. Generally the setting is perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional both for breakfast and dinner. Very tastefully renovated property.would stay again for sure.

    Very good location, the private parking (at a fee) makes things a bit easier. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was exceptional, a la carte dinner was really great too. Extra bed for the kids made things easier.

    The view from the bed was spectacular . The room was very modern spacious and extremely comfortable . We had a bath as well as a shower . Good location , close to cafes and restaurants . We loved the walking tracks in the hills .

    Great apartments. We stayed there for prolonged weekend and it was perfect. Modern, clean and sunny. On top of that it is located straight by the lake close to small but nice beach. There is a lot of activities nearby. Owner is really helpful. Great communication. Nothing was problem. Definitely can recommend this place to stay.

    The location and the view is very beautiful. There is a very quiet zone. Thanks a lot to the hosts, Stephan and Nina. Stephan met us when we arrived and showed us everything. The apartment is very comfortable. There is everything you need and the rooms are very clean. Also, the beds are very comfortable. And of course, the view on the lake is fantastic.
