The gîte was a lovely little reconverted barn, very recently renovated and equipped with all the amenities. We found it very cozy and comfortable. It's only a short walk to the more popular areas in the very tiny, but beautiful village and enough off the beaten path to offer some quiet and privacy. Of course, we were there in winter, when the town was mostly shut down, so it's a little hard to imagine what the atmosphere is like in tourist season. We were there for only two nights, but I would very enthusiastically return for a longer stay, either in the gîte or in the chambres d'hôtes next door. The couple who own both were charming and responsive.

This is our third stay here and I would recommend this to everyone. Cahors is beautiful and the area is beautiful. We’ve just had the most wonderful evening with D&M and their guests.
