We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our 4 night stay at LBB. Richard and Yvonne are the most attentive hosts and are clearly revelling in their roles as custodians of this lovely old house. The property is being maintained to a very high standard. It’s neat, tidy and spotlessly clean and is a very comfortable and welcoming home away from home. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and secure, so much so that we opted not to take advantage of the private car parking offered. Richard and Yvonne are well versed in the history and culture of Montmorillon and were able to offer a wealth of suggestions on where to go and what to do while visiting the département. Breakfast each day was a joy - smiles all around with the best of local produce on offer. Richard cycled to the bakery each morning to ensure we had the freshest of fresh croissants and bread. Our evenings in the garden were punctuated with shared glasses of wine and relaxed and friendly conversation. There’s an authenticity about LBB and its owners that is seldom found beyond small communities like Montmorillon.

Angliers'te Château de Chinon'a 34 km ve Chateau de Montsoreau'ya 35 km uzaklıkta yer alan La Galuche oturma alanına sahip konaklama birimleri sunmaktadır. From the time we arrived, our stay at La Galuche was wonderful. Brigitte and Tommy made us feel right at home. Their beautifully renovated chambre d'hote was so comfortable. It is a little out of the way but close to many things (if that makes sense). I was there to visit the Maison de l'Acadie in La Chaussee (my grandmother is French Canadian and this area is ground zero for my family tree). But La Galuche was minutes away from many quaint towns. Tommy and Brigitte told us about the local Vide Genier in Moncontour (15 minutes away) (hard to expain - huge town flea market with so much more). Brigitte and Tommy have restored their property to perfection. Our room was large and the bed super comfortable. Brigitte definitely has an eye for design. Also her breakfasts were excellent: a little bit of many things...right down to the freshly squeezed orange juice. I hope our travels bring us this way again - it would be an excellent place to just "be".

Our hosts were really wecoming, helpful and friendly. The studio was superbly fitted out and was spotless. Probably the cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in! The breakfast was excellent and wonderfully presented.

Boasting city views, La Maison Charmante features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 29 km from Futuroscope - Main Entrance. Christine was a fabulous host and her special breakfast was a real treat. The house is an oasis and has a very special feel.
