Beautiful setting by the River Wye-lovely area for walks! The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was well-appointed with lovely products and good lighting, scrupulously clean! We loved the cozy restaurant and were very pleased with the excellent quality of the meals, including breakfast. The wait staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating.

With oak beams and flagstone floors, this 16th-century bed and breakfast features traditional, spacious rooms with antique wooden beds. Craig is very nice and a great host. He greeted us with a smile and coffee and cake before check-in time, simply because we arrived earlier and forgot to inform him. The room was cozy and cute and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and beautiful. Craig also helped us with recommendations and equipped us with a flashlight for the night walk back from the restaurant. One small note about the bathroom- it would be helpful to put hangers or a small chair, to have somewhere to hang or put the clothes. But other than that it was really lovely and we would certainly love to come back.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, The Bungalow, Forest of Dean is located in Coleford, 14 km from Wilton Castle and 14 km from Westbury Court Garden. Everything was first class. It is a wonderful bungalow with all you needed included. Exceptionally clean, tidy and very spacious. Set in a tranquil setting in the Forest.

A recently renovated holiday home located in Saint Briavels, Historic cottage in the beautiful Wye Valley features a garden. The cottage was really well equipped and very cosy and comfortable. There was a lovely plate of freshly baked scones with jam and cream to welcome us. Also, the owners had provided all those little extras that it's so easy to forget. Everything was lovely and clean and in good order, and the beds were very comfy. The village of St Briavels was lovely, with a friendly pub, which was 5 minutes walk from the cottage. We were able to do some great walking from the cottage door, and didn't need to use our cars all weekend. We would very happily stay here again next time we find ourselves in this beautiful part of the country.

Located in Whitchurch, in a historic building, 39 km from Kingsholm Stadium, Portland House is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge. (Breakfast was not included.) Facilities in the room were very good, the bed comfortable, and there was ample space.
