The Great North is a true gem! The revamped interior is stunning, from rooms to restaurant, with beautiful decor in every corner, impressive photography on the walls, and gorgeous lighting fixtures - truly reminiscent of the most stylish hotels in metropolitan cities. The gardens are gorgeous, the staff warm and welcoming, and even our 6-year-old felt at home everywhere. Dinner was delicious with the right variety of tasty, locally-sourced dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a feast — fresh, diverse, including a juice maker and cooked-to-order eggs. Our beds were super comfortable, even the fold-out one for our daughter. The indoor walkway to the thermal baths was a welcome convenience, and we had a great time playing in the water and relaxing at the exceptional sauna & spa. Stylish, friendly, and perfectly relaxing, with exceptional attention to every detail — we’ll be back!

We loved the overall vibe of the place and how friendly the staff was. Enjoyed the pool and the sauna and the breakfast was really good. The hotel is about the 30 minutes from the city center by car, but I strongly recommend using the public transportation: Bus, S1, U bahn and you can be at your destination in no time while you get to enjoy the scenery.
