Our stay was absolutely amazing! Vida Lenta is beautifully located in the hills near Álora, offering stunning views from the pool and terrace. The rooms are perfect for two, and the entire estate is impeccably maintained. Jasper and Evelien went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. They prepared incredible breakfasts and dinners, mixed delicious cocktails, and shared great recommendations for exploring the local area and nearby attractions. Everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Vida Lenta and would gladly return!

I recently spent five nights at Casa El Chorro during my climbing trip, and it was the ideal base for our trip. The location couldn't have been better, especially if you're planning to climb at the crags Frontales (Arab Steps) or Las Encantadas — both crags are just a short drive away, making it super convenient The room was very private and comfortable, which we loved. Sarah and Arnaud were incredibly welcoming and attentive to every detail and the breakfast included was healthy and delicious. You should definitely stay for dinner, as they are amazing cooks!!

We stayed one night at Hostel La Fanega before our Caminito del Rey trip. The host, Martijn, was very kind and accommodating about our arrival and departure times. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had the shared, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom to ourselves, as we were the only guests. The location was perfect for our needs—close to Caminito del Rey. An extra bonus was the sweet family dog, who came by in the morning to say goodbye!

Great location with amazing view over the valley

The cabin was in excellent condition, set in a beautiful environment with stunning mountain views. The surroundings were well maintained. Everything was great, but what impressed us the most was the host’s sincerity and care. You could really feel their attentiveness, and they provided excellent recommendations on what to see in the area. Staying here truly added wonderful moments to our vacation. It’s worth mentioning that having a car is the most convenient option, as the apartment is a bit farther from the city, but the views more than make up for it.

A wonderful, querky, comfortable, peaceful, spotlessly clean little hideaway. We especially liked the secluded and relaxing courtyard, We had a wonderful time there, and looked forward to coming back every day, at the end of the day. Will come again.

As promised, but a little late, here are my comments on the accommodation we booked on the "wrong day"... We arrived in Álora on the day of the floods and the atmosphere was quite Dantesque. Fortunately, Astrid and Saskia take good care of your comfort. Thank you again for your warm welcome and your service. We wish you all the best for 2025 🥂🍾!

Ruby & Danny are great hosts - super helpful and friendly. The apartment was perfect - spacious & comfortable, comfy bed, great shower and a well equipped kitchenette. Real coffee ☕️❤️ I liked that the property is slightly out of town - easy walk in & meant parking was straightforward.
