When we went to check in we got offers an upgrade, I questioned why we think it had something to do with the wedding party that was in when we got into the room it was very cosy bed was very comfortable and the room was called the swallow which is also my partners last name which was nice

Large room with a very comfortable king size bed. We brought our dog and had a ground floor room which was perfect. We could walk her behind the hotel in the fields and on public paths nearby. The friendly staff provided me with gluten free bread for breakfast. The breakfast was okay.

The room was really nice, clean and tidy and had a great view onto the golf course/nature. The beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed having a bathtub in addition to a shower. Staff was very kind and helpful, even accepting parcels on my behalf and storing them at the reception. The bar serves some excellent food as well. We came for the medieval fair, which is in walking distance just down the hill, which was great.

The Hotel has been created within an elegant Regency building, which was once owned and loved by the Duke of Wellington.
