Loved the historical aspect of the city.

Loved the historical aspect of the city. The cathedral is amazing especially if you are interested in British and European history. The rest of the city has some very old and historical buildings and architecture especially the docks with the Victorian Warehouses. There are so many places to eat, catering for all tastes and budgets.

Beautiful Cathedral and interesting Museum.

Beautiful Cathedral and interesting Museum. Good ghost and old prison tours. The town centre is a little tired and there is a shortage of good shopping, however, there’s a fantastic Marina/Docks which more than makes up for this offering a comprehensive range of shops and quality restaurants. Makes for an interesting long weekend.

Nice city with some sightseeing, Gloucester Quays is worth a visit as is the Cathedral , the food outlets on the quays are plentiful, we had a lovely meal at the Anatolian palace, easy walking around the city, it’s also a good place to use as a base to visit surrounding towns.

A very interesting city with good and bad parts.

A very interesting city with good and bad parts. There are plenty of shops with a good mix of local and national outlets. The Cathedral is well worth a visit and St Mary's church is a little gem. The Quay's area is full of restaurants and is the place to go for food. Parts of the city look in need of care and attention

The location of the Hotel is within the city centre so ease of getting to the hotel is perfect, Coach station nearby too. Short walking distance from Gloucester Train station. The Room was very spacious and clean. Room had a microwave and a fridge which is extremely handy, nice big tv. Spacious shower unit too. Staff were very professional and polite. This hotel I would Recommend as its ideal for self catering needs and location within the city centre.
