The location is excellent for the docks or the nice pubs/bars/restaurants that Gloucester has on offer. We had a room in the courtyard at the rear of the property and it was very quiet. We are regular visitors to Gloucester as we have a holiday caravan a few miles away and were down to pay a bill on it, so decided to make a evening of it and saw this on Booking.com and decided to stay. This is going to become a regular thing now and may even spend a night here over Christmas. Overall its an excellent place to stay.

Of course, I loved the history of the building. I would have been disappointed if it wasn't as original as possible. I liked the creaking floorboards and wonky walls. My room was well equipped. WiFi, tea making facilities, TV, and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. Being on my own this trip, I treated myself . It was a family weekend, and the location was ideal to meet . Walking distance to the railway and the Quays. And the inn is at the heart of the city. A well-used restaurant, and entertainment.
