While some hotels are judged by their amenities, Perivolas Hotel goes above and beyond any standard. It sits right on the cliffside, overlooking the caldera with the most breathtaking, magnificent view imaginable. We came here as a couple, and the entire atmosphere is incredibly romantic. The rooms feel straight out of a fairy tale—beautifully carved cave suites into the mountain, where the atmosphere is always perfectly pleasant and comfortable. The bar features a rich selection of the most unique cocktails, and the on-site restaurant is an absolute must; we dined out as well, but here, every single dish is crafted to absolute perfection, with the precision and quality of a royal palace. Yet, that is the easy part to praise. The hospitality and the staff here are simply heavenly. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and providing world-class service straight from the heart. It is the perfect romantic getaway in a perfect place. Today, we also had the pleasure of meeting the owner—an impressive, distinguished, and incredibly warm gentleman. It is clear that this extraordinary hotel was shaped in his very image. Don't miss out on this place! My rating is a definitive 100/100. We will absolutely return

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel stays we have ever experienced. The biggest issue was the extremely strong smell of dampness and mold in the rooms. It felt as if the rooms had not been properly aired out for years. The smell was so overwhelming that we could barely sleep during our entire stay. We booked two rooms, and unfortunately both had exactly the same problem, so it was clearly not an isolated case. We deliberately stayed out of the hotel from early morning until late at night just to avoid spending time in the rooms because the humidity and smell made them very uncomfortable. Every morning we woke up with itchy skin and rashes on different parts of our bodies, and we believe the excessive dampness in the rooms may have contributed to this. The experience was extremely unpleasant for both us and our children and had a significant negative impact on our vacation. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses this issue as soon as possible, because the air quality inside the rooms is just as important as cleanliness. Sadly, this experience greatly affected our holiday, and I cannot recommend this hotel unless this problem is resolved.
