Everything was very comfortable and clean. The Villa is very spacious as well as the pool and outdoor area. The Villa is very well equipped, especially the kitchen has every utensil you could need. The Family that owns the Villa is super friendly and helpful. They provide great tips for Crete. Overall highly recommend staying at Villa Elena if you are looking for a nice place with an amazing outdoor area. Thank you Yiannis and Family!

We were greeted by the owner of the villa who gave us a tour of the villa, assistance with hiring a car and a lift to get some shopping to top up an already well-stocked fridge. Everything we could possibly need for our stay was available to us. The owner also checked with us when would be a good time to clean the villa a couple of days into our stay. We returned from a day trip to a lovely fresh, clean villa with clean towels left on the sun loungers next to the pool which was cleaned a couple of times during our week-long stay. We all ended our holiday feeling refreshed and relaxed. I can't recommend this villa any higher. It is superb

Amazing villa with a fantastic pool and great amenities. During our stay, the owners were always on hand to help with any requests and provided us with fresh vegetables and oranges grown at the villa. Restaurants by the sea were a 15 minute taxi journey, whilst we also cooked using the outdoor grill on some nights.

Very comfortable, modern and extremely well equipped villa of one's dreams - everything is there from washing machine, dryer, dish washer, hair dryer, two bikes, even an air mattress for the pool! Great sleeping comfort too with fully black out blinds and good air con everywhere. Guests might need to know that the bedroom in the upstairs (attic) space has a low ceiling and no door - it didn't bother us but might be a problem for some. The location is quiet but absolutely requires a car or a very good connection to a taxi service - the next nice beach is about 10 mins drive away, the nearest supermarkets 5 mins by car but on a steep hill and a road that is difficult to walk or cycle, and Rethymno town about 20 mins drive. Super responsive owner and agency who solved a small problem with the pool straight away even though it occurred on a Sat afternoon.

Sitting by the pool at the comfy chez long chairs or watching the sunset from the balconies upstairs were the highlights for me. Excellent communication with the owners also added to a positive stay experience
