We were searching for a peaceful retreat amidst the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The owners warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. Everything was perfect, including the delicious homemade breakfast cakes. We were treated to a fantastic dinner buffet, which is organized periodically, showcasing the passion and attention to detail of the hosts and their love for good food. Here the sun really sings.

We loved our experience at Colesereno! The staff is really lovely and the place is so tranquil and beautiful! The apartement was comfortable and located right on the farm in s the mids of the hills of Montalcino. We did the wine tasting with Gianni the owner and farmer, he was so fun, passionate and down to earth. The wine was exceptional, we learned so much amongst the barrels, and the cheese board was declicious. We also opted for the picnic dinner, this is the only option for dinner here, and at first we were unsure, but it was perfect!! Being November is was dark and cold out, so we opted to have it in our apartement which was cozy and perfect. They put everthing into an organized basket, all the amazing food was in glass containers, there was no mess, everything was very clean and organized and we were happy to eat in the comfort of our apartment. The traditional tuscan food was hot and absolutely delicious! I am sure it would make for a lovely picnic lunch in warmer weather. We wished we had stayed longer!

In 1 word WOW! This is a really really great place to spend you holidays. We we're received by the family and explained the apartment in detail. Communication was very easy. We rented both apartments for our group of 6 people and both places are really nice. They are decorated with great attention to detail. To reach the front door you need to be able to walk the stairs. The farm where it's located is an historic place on top of the mountain. The views of Siena in the morning and evening are spectacular. We also did a horse ride with them for our kids which was a very wonderful experience. They have a big stable and a couple of horses and pony's. There is also a small farm with small animals you can go and see. Around the house there is the rolling hills of Tuscany and Siena is about 20-25 minutes drive (tip: park you car in parking Il Campo). There is a nice public swimming pool in the nearby town of Monteroni D'Arabia. If we have the opportunity we will definitely come back here.

Firstly, the food was sensational - it was all homemade and fresh, and extremely delicious. The rooms were also spacious and clean and impeccably decorated - it felt like a peaceful place to relax and unwind. The staff were fantastic too, everyone was lovely and friendly - making you feel really welcome.

The location was remote and located in a beautiful region. We were able to explore the Val d’Orcia, Pienza and Siena with our car. We also enjoyed the onsite restaurant and swimming pools. The staff were great and also hosted us in their kitchen for a cooking lesson. We made a pasta lunch and tiramisu with the chef. We also made a grocery stop before arriving at the resort which was helpful since eating breakfast and lunch in our unit was preferable.

We had a great stay here. Weather was a bit iffy and the roof on the swimming pool can close. So we had some lovely swims while enjoying the views. The apartment we stayed in was scandi inspired, with a very comfy four poster bed. The staff were really lovely, the guy in the restaurant especially. Food was excellent too. The Eurasian museum you can see from the hotel is worth a visit.

I’ve already been in this hotel before, and also this time they didn’t disappoint. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, room is clean and tidy, there’s also a parking place. Perfect place to stay in Tuscany. With warmer days approaching the huge swimming pool is going to open. I’m sorry I couldn’t stay longer this time.

A very good restaurant with great breakfasts and dinners. Perfect local wine :) The extensive area guarantees perfect relaxation close to nature. It is also very friendly place to spend vacation with animals. My family also liked the swimming pool. Fairly easy access to visiting interesting places and cities in the area.

Great place with very welcoming staff. Hotel has its own swimming pool, parking place, room has its own terrace. Great location too. Not very far from Siena, still not very far from Val d’Orcia too. Great place to be based in during your travels through Tuscany.
