We spent our holiday here in May and were thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of our stay. Villa Salviati perfectly combines the charm of a historic property with pristine, modern, and highly comfortable amenities. The accommodation was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location is exceptional—situated in a quiet yet central area, making it an ideal base for exploring both Prato and the wider Tuscany region. Furthermore, the communication with the host was seamless and professional throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a premium and worry-free experience.

We have very nice and comfortable stay here. Room is very clean and we are allowed to early check in, the house is very close to the train station (5 minutes by walk), so very convenient to go anywhere. We will miss here.

A very cosy hotel, although it is somewhat dated. The staff are wonderful, friendly and always willing to help. I must have taken almost all the ice from the bar up to my room, but whenever I asked, they always brought me more. :) A special mention goes to Signora Ilaria, who is a very pleasant and competent lady. The hotel has its own swimming pool, surrounded by tall pine trees that shade the sun loungers from the scorching sun. It is a wonderful place to relax. The only pity is that the pool closes quite early: at 7:00 p.m., everyone is asked to leave the pool area. I was unable to properly evaluate the dinner. Although I arrived an hour before the kitchen closed, I was told that only pizza was available. I did not feel like having pizza, so I left disappointed. The breakfast selection is also rather limited. Overall, I had a good impression of the hotel and would recommend it!

Spacious room & bathroom, spotlessly clean, nice patio outside ground floor rooms, super cozy! Very nice breakfast, very polite staff, free parking across the street.

Beautiful and quiet location, stuff was very kind

This was just one big, super fast rollercoaster through the history of Roman Empire, Middle Ages blooming into Renaissance, Arts, Politics, power struggles of great houses of Medici and sooo much more. As for the house everything was as I could have imagined, spacious and comfortable - with views taken straight out of a fairy tale. We came with our own car covering more than 1,500 km in one shot so the coordination with the host on time of the arrival was crucial and this was done over WhatsApp in a friendly open and proactive manner, couldn't expect better performance even from a swiss watch. It takes 30 min to get to Firenze so this place is definitely for motorized guests, located on a olive hill requires some skill to drive through narrow winding road at the last couple of hundred of meters, but each and every time we were getting out of the tourist crowded Florence, the house was the most welcome refuge. The cabinet with local wines in the living room is a "nice to have" stock if one doesn't feel like shopping every day. Montemurlo is a small suburban town but has all the shops and services needed. We have even found a super friendly mechanic who had helped with a car emergency without waiting or setting fixed date. This was just a perfect stay. Can't wait to come back in summer months when the pool/ jacuzzi is on.

An amazing find. A beautiful Villa B&B that really blew us away. We felt as though it was our own home except much, much bigger. Amazing bedroom, bathroom, and general interior. A huge swimming pool and two lovely restaurants onsite with really tasty food. Traditional Tuscan as well as great pizza! It is a great base for touring Tuscany and even has a bus service outside the front gate, which we used to get to train station and wedding.

We had the pink appartment and we loved it. Perfect for a romantic gateaway. Rustic and peaceful atmosphere. They have kept original details that make the stay great.

Excellent property with quality decor and furnishings with custom design to fit the unusual space, the building having an excellent ambiance for a vacation stay. Interesting features in the building (refurbished to a high modern standard), great atmosphere, we loved the exposed brickwork finish. The main communal space with kitchen/lounge works well, the large screen TV allowing some downtime. Parking outside the property can fit 2 cars. Electric charging was very useful to have on site. Air con throughout perfect for the heat. Swimming pool in basement was excellent. Beautiful brickwork walls and ceiling, it forms a complete loop to swim around. Completely private. I had no issues with presentation or pool cleanliness as mentioned elsewhere. Friendly, communicative owner who wanted to ensure we had a good visit and was available for any queries - thanks!
