Big room with a great view of the lake. The in suite balcony was a big plus. Friendly staff that is always eager to assist us.

Excellent hotel, recently refurbished and much better quality than other Westins. We got upgraded to a Junior Suite which was huge and had fantastic amenities. The onsen area and gym/pool were great additions and worth going to. Good selections of restaurants and a nice bar (just note high costs below). Staff were friendly, rooms super clean and beds very comfortable. Great, quiet location but easily walkable into centre of Kyoto (20-25 min walk) or a metro station a couple of minutes away. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect rooms, perfect localization, perfect breakfast and perfect stuff. And the only one in the kind- unique pajamas in the room. Perfect !

The convenance of the hotel near the station was the best part. The staff were so helpful in everything. The rooms are so nice and big.
